- Connecticut: A valid State issued ID and ammunition permit is required
- Hawaii: Online ammunition shipments are prohibited
- Illinois: A valid Firearm Owner's Identification (FOID) card and State issued ID are required
- Massachusetts: A valid Firearm Owner's Identification (FOID) card and State issued ID are required
- New Jersey: A valid Firearm Owner's Identification (FOID) card and State issued ID are required
- New York: Must ship to a licensed ammunition vendor or FFL
- Puerto Rico: Online ammunition purchases are prohibited
- Rhode Island: A valid license and a pistol or revolver safety certificate
- Washington D.C: Online ammunition purchases are prohibited
