Our Steel Challenge 9mm 115gr Round Nose Polymer Coated ammunition is designed for the lightest possible recoil to maximize speed on steel stages. Known as our “mouse fart” load, this round produces extremely soft recoil, minimal muzzle rise, and fast sight return for shooters who want maximum speed with the least amount of disruption between shots.
With a 115 grain RN bullet and reduced recoil impulse, this load is perfect for Steel Challenge and other speed-focused matches. Because of the very light recoil, many pistols will require a lighter recoil spring to ensure reliable cycling. Once tuned, this load delivers unmatched speed and control.
The Hi Tek polymer coating keeps barrels clean, reduces fouling, and prevents copper jacket splash on steel. Ideal for rimfire-like recoil in a centerfire pistol match, offseason training, and recoil-sensitive shooters.
